CNC Machinist
Description
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced 2nd Shift CNC Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team. The successful candidate will set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines (mills and/or lathes) to produce high-quality parts while meeting production schedules and tight tolerances during the off-shift.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC Mills and/or CNC Lathes (Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, or similar controls)
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications
Program, edit, and optimize CNC code at the machine (G-code and M-code)
Perform tool changes, offsets, and workholding setups
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, CMM, etc.)
Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
Maintain clean and organized work area following 5S principles
Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
Meet or exceed daily production quotas while maintaining high quality standards
Document production and quality data accurately
Collaborate with 1st shift and other team members for smooth handoffs
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required; Technical degree or CNC certification preferred
2–5+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience (setup and operation)
Strong proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding GD&T
Experience with CNC Mills and/or Lathes (both preferred)
Ability to edit G-code and make program adjustments at the machine
Solid understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials
Proficient with precision measuring instruments
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
Reliable attendance and ability to work 2nd shift consistently
Must pass a practical machining test during the interview process
Preferred Skills
Experience with Haas, Mazak, or Okuma machines
Basic Mastercam or other CAM software knowledge
Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
Experience in aerospace, medical, automotive, or defense industries

Customer Service Representative
Description
Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to serve as the primary point of contact for customers of our metal manufacturing facility. This role is critical to ensuring smooth order flow from initial quote through final delivery, requiring strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and the ability to coordinate effectively across production, shipping, and sales teams. Key Responsibilities Order Management
Enter customer orders accurately into the ERP/order management system, including specifications, quantities, materials, finishes, and delivery requirements
Track orders throughout the production cycle and proactively communicate status updates, lead times, and any changes to customers
Verify order details against customer purchase orders and resolve discrepancies before release to production
Maintain accurate customer records, contact information, and order history
Quoting & Pricing
Process requests for quotes (RFQs) by gathering specifications, drawings, and requirements from customers
Coordinate with estimating, engineering, and sales to develop accurate pricing on standard and custom metal products
Prepare and deliver formal quotes within established turnaround times, following up to convert quotes to orders
Maintain familiarity with current pricing structures, material costs, and standard product offerings
Complaints & Returns
Receive and document customer complaints regarding quality, delivery, or service issues with empathy and professionalism
Initiate RMAs (Return Material Authorizations) and coordinate with quality assurance on root cause investigation
Work with production and shipping to arrange replacements, credits, or rework as appropriate
Follow up with customers to confirm resolution and maintain satisfaction
Production & Shipping Coordination
Serve as the liaison between customers and the shop floor, communicating priority changes, expedite requests, and special instructions
Coordinate with shipping and logistics on delivery schedules, freight arrangements, and special packaging requirements
Escalate capacity, material, or scheduling conflicts to the Customer Service Manager and relevant departments
Participate in production meetings as needed to represent customer priorities
Requirements
Qualifications
Required
2-5 years of customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or B2B environment
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Epicor, SAP, NetSuite, JobBOSS) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to read and interpret basic technical documents, including engineering drawings, purchase orders, and specifications
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Prior experience in metal manufacturing, fabrication, machining, or a related industry
Familiarity with metal grades, gauges, finishes, and common manufacturing processes (cutting, forming, welding, machining, etc.)
Experience reading blueprints or CAD drawings
Knowledge of freight, LTL shipping, and international export documentation

Work Environment

Entry Level Welding Robot Operator
Description
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welding Robot Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining robotic welding systems to produce high-quality welded components efficiently and safely. You will play a key role in ensuring consistent weld quality, maximizing production output, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate robotic welding systems (including programming, loading parts, and running production cycles)
Load and unload parts onto fixtures and robotic cells
Monitor weld quality through visual inspection and basic measurement tools
Perform routine maintenance and minor troubleshooting on welding robots and related equipment
Adjust robotic parameters (weld speed, voltage, wire feed, etc.) to optimize performance
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures at all times
Document production data, downtime, and quality issues
Collaborate with weld technicians, engineers, and quality control team to resolve issues
Assist with fixture changes and program adjustments as needed
